Or if you’re interested in a unique curtain design you can’t find in the stores. Fabric stores carry miles of materials to make your own window coverings that reflect your own personal style. Even better, you can find patterns, ideas and general information in-store to help you. You don’t even have to be a pro to complete a project like this.
Whether you choose store-bought covering or those of your own creation, you can be sure that whatever you hang on your WINDOWS will have your signature on it.

I have drape/curtain/interior design question.?
I want to get these brown velvet-type drapes from ikea, but I want another texture/pattern drape behind it. Can you layer drapes and how? Do I put them on the same curtain rod or will that be too busy? If anyone has pics, please include.
You can get double curtain rods that both go in the same holder. Usually one is set a little higher on the outside, so that would be the velvet ones, and then you could do like a sheer one on the inside/lower rod. Here’s an example at Walmart:
